And we were one of the first intermediaries to issue cover for complex existing medical conditions. That includes the innovation of a travel policy for customers with HIV over 20 years ago.

The contact centre is the interface between our business and our customers – and we take both recruitment and training seriously. Our team handle over 50,000 customer calls every year. We also offer an instant messaging function across all brand websites. There’s a one-hour target to reply to emails and we support customers across social media with as close to 24/7 monitoring as we can.
Our marketing team translate policy details into peace of mind – giving our customers confidence that they are choosing the product that suits them best. With internal expertise across design, development, copywriting and marketing strategy, we craft campaigns and create content across all brands.
We use state of the art contact centre technologies and CRM systems to monitor all service delivery, helping to give each policyholder a personalised experience with our brands. Our dev team is constantly refining the customer journey for speed, simplicity and accessibility.

Martin is the son of Rothwell & Towler’s co-founders and has amassed more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry. As Managing Director he has ultimate responsibility for all areas of the business. Any spare time is usually spent dog walking, kite surfing or planning his next adventure.
Favourite holiday destination: Dhakla, Western Sahara
Simon joined Rothwell & Towler in 2019 following ten years managing major B2C and B2B2C brands for one of Europe’s largest insurers. As Head of Commercial he’s responsible for product design and works with aggregators and other commercial partners. Simon is a keen hiker and – uniquely – a fully qualified commercial airline pilot.

Ben has been working in insurance since 2004 and has developed a nuanced understanding of the industry. He is responsible for developing new commercial opportunities, maintaining relationships with partners and driving the evolution of our brands – apart from when he’s planning his next big endurance event.
